Learn about exciting products and techniques to help you save energy and money

The annual Oakville Conserves Energy Fair takes place this Saturday, May 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the South Atrium at Town Hall. Admission is free.

“Please join us for this great opportunity to learn how to reduce your energy consumption and make a real difference in our community,” said Mayor Rob Burton. “Together we can make Oakville more livable by making simple changes at home and work.”

Sponsored by Oakville Hydro, this annual event showcases the latest in energy efficiency products and services from numerous exhibitors. You can test drive an electric vehicle, take a virtual tour of a local energy efficient house, learn about energy incentives for your home and business, and test your knowledge for giveaways and door prizes.

While you’re there, stop by the Halton Environmental Network’s Shop, Swap and Save event in the Town Hall parking lot. Get one-of-a-kind items from a variety of local artists, purchase recycled and repurposed items, swap your children's clothes (age 0-6 years) with your fellow Oakvillians and bring your bicycle for a free spring tune-up!

The Oakville Conserves Energy Fair is one of many programs the town has to help promote energy conservation. Visit the Oakville Conserves Energy Fair page for more information.
