The Premier of Ontario has declared a province-wide state of emergency and issued a stay-at-home order in response to rising COVID-19 variant infection rates.
The town employs part-time staff for 24 hours per week or less in a number of areas including Aquatics, the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts and Community Centres. All opportunities are posted under Current Opportunities.

Any student or part-time jobs that require a driver's licence, require at a minimum, a valid and unrestricted Ontario Driver’s Licence Class G2 required (Ontario Driver’s Licence Class G preferred) with a driving record that demonstrates responsible and safe driving behaviour. Please note that applicants with 6 or more points are ineligible for consideration. Successful applicants will be required to provide the Corporation with a copy of their drivers licence and a current drivers abstract (no older than 30 days) and all new hires will be required to pass a town administered road test as a condition of employment.
