Do you know what to do if you fall into deep water?
Family Swim to Survive lessons provide families (parents or caregivers and their children ages 5+) with the necessary skills required to survive an unexpected fall into deep water. Qualified staff will teach you how to do a front roll into the water, tread water for two minutes, and swim 50-metres (two lengths of the pool).
Lessons take place at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre.
The Family Swim to Survive program is offered as a pre-registered three-week parented course for $6 per participant. Each person must register. Spaces are limited. The Family Swim to Survive program is also offered as a parented drop-in program for families with children ages 5+. Cost is $2 per participant for a one-hour lesson. Spaces are limited and first-come, first-served.
Visit the program registration page to register.
