As the province plans for recovery, the town is beginning to carefully and responsibly bring back services and reopen some public spaces, programs and services. Provincial emergency orders and the town’s physical distancing by-law remain in effect. We must all continue to follow guidelines from Public Health officials.

The following have been issued a special event permit for this May 3-4:
Road closed between 2126 and 2161 Crestmont Drive from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Road closed on Kerr Street between Florence Drive and Stewart Street, and approximately 20 metres at west end of Washington Street from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Detour route will be on Stewart Street, Felan Avenue, and Westside Drive. Visit the Oakville Transit website for information on transit detours.
There are no road closures or temporary lane restrictions for this event running from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants will be using the sidewalks and obeying all traffic signals; marshalls will be used
Road closed on Lakeshore Road East between Navy Street and Dunn Street from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Detour route will be on Navy Street, Robinson Street, and Trafalgar Road. Visit the Oakville Transit website for information on transit detours.
All service providers have been previously notified of the road closure request through the special event permit process.
