Glenorchy Trail slope stabilization work begins August 31, 2015

Mon, 31 Aug 2015

The Town of Oakville will begin installation of a bio-engineered slope stabilization system within the valley of Sixteen Mile Creek along Glenorchy Trail.

The installation of this system is necessary to prevent further valley erosion into Sixteen Mile Creek and damage to the trail.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve parks and open space within the Town of Oakville. Access to this section of trail will be closed for the duration of construction and we anticipate the work will take approximately five weeks to complete.

The project will begin on August 31, 2015.
