Town Services and Facility Closures
Town Hall

Town Hall will be closed as of noon on December 24, 2015, re-opening on January 4, 2016. During the closure, customer service staff from ServiceOakville are available on December 29 and 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone at 905-845-6601 or email service@oakville.ca. To report emergencies outside of ServiceOakville hours, please call 905-845-6601.

Parking

To book temporary overnight parking please use our online permit system.

Community centres, pools and arenas

Community centres, pools and arenas will be closed from noon on December 24 to 26, December 31, 2015 after 4 p.m. and January 1, 2016.

Youth Centres

Bronte Youth Centre will closed December 24 to 26, 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016 and open for regular hours on December 22, 23, 29, 30, 2015 and January 2, 2016.

QEPCCC Youth Centre will be closed December 24 to 26, 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016, and open on December 21 to 23, 28 to 30, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. and January 2, 2016 from 2-6 p.m.

Seniors centres

Seniors centres will be closed at noon on December 24, 2015 and will re-open on January 4, 2016 with the following exceptions:

The Oakville Seniors' Centre will be open for drop-in activities on December 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Sir John Colborne Centre will be open for drop-in activities on December 30, 2015 from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.

Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts

The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts box office will be closed December 24 to 26, 28, 29 to 30, 2015, and January 1, 2016.

The Oakville Centre will be open for performances on December 27 and 31, 2015.

Oakville Museum

The Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate will be closed December 24 to 26, 28, 2015 and January 1, 2016. The museum will be open December 27, 2015 and will return to regular business hours on January 2, 2016.

Central Operations

Central Operations Depot will be closed at noon on December 24 to 27, and January 1, 2015.

Oakville Public Library

All library branches will be closed from December 24 to 26, 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016.

Fire Administration, Training and Fire Prevention Divisions

Fire Administration, will be closed at noon on December 24, 2015 and will re-open on January 2, 2016.

The Fire Prevention and Fire Training Divisions will be closed at 6 p.m. on December 24, 2015, re-opening December 29 to 31 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Holiday Transit Service

December 24: Regular weekday service with early homebound service
December 25: Holiday service (8 a.m.–8 p.m.)
December 26: Saturday level of service
December 27: Sunday service
December 31: Regular weekday service with early homebound service. Additional Late Night Service will meet the last trains from Toronto, departing the Oakville GO Station at 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Free service after 7 p.m.
January 1: Holiday service (8 a.m.–8 p.m.)
January 2: Saturday service

School specials will not operate from December 28, 2015 to January 1, 2016.
