Public information centre on May 4, 2016, for Bridge Road reconstruction phase 1

The Town of Oakville is in the process of completing detailed design drawings for the reconstruction of Bridge Road from Fourth Line to Lee’s Lane. The work is currently scheduled to start construction in August 2016 and take approximately four months to complete.

Staff is proposing to reconstruct Bridge Road to accommodate a travel lane and bike lane in each direction, new curb and gutter, a new storm sewer, continuous sidewalks on both sides of Bridge Road and new LED street-lighting.

Sump pumps will be tied into the new storm sewer on Bridge Road. Residents are requested to mark and/or notify staff through email their location to ensure they are accommodated.

You are invited to drop by anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. to review the proposed plans for Bridge Road and discuss any issues or concerns you may have with staff. a presentation will not be provided.
