College Park Transportation Study public meeting on March 29, 2016

The College Park Transportation Study will be presented to the town’s Community Services Committee on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.

This study examined various transportation issues in the College Park neighbourhood. Public concerns around traffic congestion, vehicle speeds and safety were raised in the study area, which led the town to undertake this study.

The study specifically focuses on the intersection of Sixth Line and McCraney Street and on transportation issues around the various schools in the area. The study area does not include Sheridan College, the Oakville Place shopping centre, or roads under the jurisdiction of Halton Region (e.g. Trafalgar Road, Upper Middle Road, South Service Road).

Anyone wishing to speak at the meeting are requested to submit a written outline of their submission/ presentation to the Town Clerk at no later than noon on March 29, 2016, to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. All submissions must include your full name and address.
