Tree removal — fall 2016

Later this fall, staff from the town’s Parks and Open Space department will be digging up a number of trees from the former hospital lands and replanting them in various town parks. They will also be removing some landscaping rocks from the site to be used elsewhere. New trees will be planted on the grounds as part of the proposed south east community centre’s landscaping design.

Open house and public consultation sessions

December 1, 2016 at Town Hall

Progress is being made on the five-year Former Hospital Site Project and we invite you to attend an open house to find out what’s been done so far and next steps. The open house runs from 5 – 7 p.m.

In addition, you’re invited to participate in one of two consultation sessions to provide input into the new community centre proposed for the site. The sessions run from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. or 7 – 9 p.m.
