In the coming months, the town and surrounding municipalities including the City of Hamilton, City of Burlington, Region of Halton and Town of Halton Hills are joining agencies across North America in the move to a digital procurement management platform through bids&tendersTM. This new tool will allow suppliers to view, download and submit bids entirely online in one quick, easy and convenient location.

Suppliers interested in bidding for any Town of Oakville opportunity need to set up an account with bidsandtenders.ca. There is an annual subscription fee of $165 for unlimited access to opportunities with the town and participating municipalities, as well as 300 other agencies throughout Canada. For those who prefer to participate in selective opportunities, there is a one-time fee option of $45 per bid.
The platform uses real-time technology to give suppliers easy access to up-to-date information relevant to their bids throughout the process, including questions, answers, addenda, reminders, and more.
