Coronation Park Drainage Improvements Class EA presentation, June 19, 2017

Thu, 08 Jun 2017

A staff report summarizing the results and recommending approval of the Coronation Park Drainage Improvements Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study will be presented at the next Community Services Committee meeting.

Monday, June 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
Town Hall, Bronte and Palermo Rooms

Please note that the exact time in which the Committee will address this item will be dependent on the meeting agenda.

At the public information centre (PIC) held on November 26, 2014, the preferred drainage improvement projects for the community were presented.

The high priority drainage improvements identified were:

New storm sewers and ditch improvements on Westminster Drive and outlet improvements
New storm sewers and ditch improvements on Woodhaven Park Drive and outlet improvements
Channel improvement within Coronation Park to receive flows from proposed storm sewers
New trunk storm sewer along Lakeshore Road West from Third Line to Coronation Park.

An update completed after the PIC recommended that the Woodhaven Park Drive storm sewer be modified and extended along Hixon Road (between Woodhaven Park Drive and Willowdown Road) and Willowdown Road (between Hixon Road and approximately Savannah Gate) to collect flows from Willowdown Road prior to discharging to a rear yard private drainage channel.

You can access the draft project file report either by obtaining a copy of the report from the Clerk’s office or from our Coronation Park Drainage Improvements Class Environmental Assessment page.

If you plan to attend this meeting and have any accessibility needs, please contact Kasia Piskorz as soon as possible by phone at 905-845-6601, ext. 3533 (TTY: 905-338-4200) or kasia.piskorz@oakville.ca or by filling out our online accessible feedback form.
