Santa Claus Parade — November 18, 2017

The Oakville Santa Claus Parade takes place on Saturday, November 18, 2017, starting at 9 a.m. Visit the Oakville Santa Claus Parade website for parade route details and other information.

Road closures:

From 7 to 11:30 a.m.

  • Lakeshore Road from Allan Street to Brant Street
  • Kerr Street from Lakeshore Road to Stewart Street
  • Stewart Street from Kerr Street to Maurice Drive
  • Felan Avenue from Stewart Street to Rebecca Street
  • Rebecca Street from Dorval Drive to Forsythe Street (Emergency Access Route)
  • Robinson Street from Navy Street to Allan Street

Additional road closures:

  • Reynolds Street from Robinson Street to Church Street
  • Trafalgar Road from Robinson Street to Church Street
  • Dunn Street from Robinson Street to Church Street
  • George Street from Lakeshore Road to Church Street
  • Thomas Street from Robinson Street to Church Street
  • Navy Street from Robinson Street to Church Street
  • Forsythe Street from John Street to Burnet Street
  • Wilson Street from John Street to Burnet Street

Parking restrictions:

There will be parking restrictions on both sides of the following streets to ensure emergency access through the area and public safety.

  • Elmwood Road from Slater Crescent to Kerr Street
  • Maurice Drive from Rebecca Street to Elmwood Road
  • Stewart Street from Maurice Drive to Kerr Street
  • Deane Avenue from Kerr Street to Maurice Drive
  • Westside Drive from Kerr Street to Felan Avenue
  • Herald Avenue from Kerr Street to Felan Avenue
  • Hawthorne Road
  • Inglewood Drive
  • John Street from Kerr Street to Brant Street
  • Brookfield Crescent
  • Burnet Street from Forsythe Street to Brookfield Road
  • Robinson Street from Navy Street to Allan Street
  • Lakeshore Road from Allan Street to Brant Street
  • Kerr Street from Lakeshore Road to Stewart Avenue
  • Queen Mary Drive from Rebecca Street to Shepherd Road
  • Brookfield Road from Lakeshore Road to Lake

Parking restrictions on one-side of the road:

  • Shorewood Place
  • Holyrood Avenue
  • Lakewood Drive

Oakville Transit detours and Santa Shuttle from Oakville Go

Parking is limited so take advantage of the Oakville Transit free Santa Shuttle.

Routes 14, 15 and 17 will be on detour due to the parade, from 7 to 11:30 a.m.
