2019 Victoria Day town facility and transit schedule

Mon, 13 May 2019

The following town facilities will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2019, for Victoria Day:

  • Town Hall
  • All community centres, seniors' centres, youth centres, pools and arenas
  • Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts (closed Saturday, May 18, Sunday, May 19 and Monday, May 20)
  • All library branches (closed Sunday, May 19 and Monday, May 20)
  • Parking garage at 300 Church Street

To report emergencies related to roads, traffic lights and signs, parks and trees or flooding and storms outside of ServiceOakville’s hours of operation, call 905-845-6601 to be connected with our afterhours dispatch service.

The following town facilities will be open on Monday, May 20, 2019

  • Oakville Museum, 1-4:30 p.m.
  • Oakville's First Post Office, 1:30-4 p.m.

Oakville Transit

Oakville Transit will be offering its holiday service schedule on Monday, May 20, 2019, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Visit the Oakville Transit page for more information and bus schedules.

Closures due to high lake levels

Residents are reminded to use caution around creeks, ponds and the lake where localized flooding and shoreline erosion have created dangerous conditions. Areas that are taped or fenced off may be unsafe and we ask that residents please respect the closures so that no one gets hurt.
