The town and the Halton District School Board have received concerns regarding pedestrian safety arising from traffic on Cairncroft Road and Sprucelea Drive during school arrival and dismissal times.
The town has hired a consulting engineering firm to conduct a road user study to review the current ways pedestrians, cyclists, cars and buses access the school property, and identify potential changes.
Site visits are scheduled for October and meetings with the school and school board representatives will take place in early November. Completion of the study is expected by the end of November 2019.
