The Premier of Ontario has declared a province-wide state of emergency and issued a stay-at-home order in response to rising COVID-19 variant infection rates.

To help residents combat the heat, the town is opening Trafalgar Park Community Centre as a cooling centre from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21.
There is a possibility that the heat alert will extend into Monday, June 22. In that case, the cooling centre at Trafalgar Park Community Centre will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as a cooling centre.
