You are invited to attend and provide input at this meeting hosted by Planning and Development Council.

The purpose of this application is to amend the Official Plan and Zoning By-law to permit the development of the site for 4 street townhouse units with access through the condominium located at 205 Lakeshore Road West. The Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment is proposed to address phasing of construction, density, setbacks, and lot frontage.

The subject land is located on Maurice Drive, east of Dorval Drive, south of Rebecca Street and north of Lakeshore Road.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject land.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted or before the zoning by-law amendment is passed:

  • the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  • the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

Any submission to the Planning and Development Council, either in hard copy or in electronic format, must be forwarded to the Clerk's department for receipt no later than noon on Monday, May 12, 2014, to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. Individuals making oral submissions at the public meeting are requested to submit a written outline of the submission to the Town Clerk. All submissions should include the full name and address of the presenter.

If you wish to be notified of the adoption of the proposed official plan amendment, and the passing of the proposed zoning by-law amendment, or of the refusal of the proposed official plan and proposed zoning by-law amendment, you must make a written request to:
