You are invited to attend and provide input at this meeting hosted by the Planning and Development Council.
The applicant submitted a Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment for Phase 3 of Preserve development. The Plan of Subdivision application proposes blocks for low and medium density residential land use, mixed use, stormwater management ponds and a village square. The development will include a total of 591 units, of which 539 will be detached dwellings and 52 a mix of townhouse and live/work units. The proposed street network is in alignment with registered plans for Phase 1 & 2 and proposes the extension of Carding Mill Trail.
The subject lands are zoned “ED” Existing Development by Zoning By-law 2009-189. The Zoning By-law amendment proposes to rezone the lands to Neighbourhood Centre Performance Zone 4 (NC-4); Neighbourhood Centre (NC – SP 6 & NC – SP 7); General Urban (GU – SP 3); Sub-Urban (S-SP 4); Park (P); and Storm water Management Facility (SMF).
The subject parcel of land is located north of Dundas Street and east of Neyagawa Blvd.
At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject land.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the by-law is passed or before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision:
Any submission to the Planning and Development Council, either in hard copy or in electronic format, must be forwarded to the Clerk's department for receipt no later than noon on September 8, 2015, to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. Individuals making oral submissions at the public meeting are requested to submit a written outline of the submission to the Town Clerk. All submissions should include the full name and address of the presenter.

The public may view planning documents and background material at the Planning Services Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the development application page.
