The Town of Oakville has completed applications for an official plan amendment, a zoning by-law amendment and a plan of subdivision on the site of the former Chisholm Public School. You are invited to attend and provide input at a public information meeting hosted by the Planning Services department.
The purpose of the applications is to allow the creation of nine residential lots for detached dwellings and an expansion of Charnwood Park, as recommended through the South Central Public Lands Study.
The subject land is located on the east side of Charnwood Drive, immediately south of Charnwood Park.
At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject land.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting (once the date of a public meeting hosted by Town Council has been determined, a separate notice will be issued), or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the zoning by-law amendment is passed, or before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision:
