The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by Stateview Homes (Ivory Oak Estates) Inc. for a proposed official plan amendment, zoning by-law amendment and a proposed plan of subdivision.

The applicant has submitted a site specific application as follows: 

  • Official Plan Amendment to amend the designation of the subject site from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential,
  •  Zoning By-law Amendment (By-law 1984-63) to rezone the subject site from ‘Agriculture – SP 28T and 29T” to the R8 zoning category with special provisions,
  •  Zoning By-law Amendment (By-law 2014-014) to rezone the subject site from ‘Existing Development - ED” to the RM1 zoning category with special provisions; and,
  •  A Draft Plan of Subdivision to permit a 22 unit townhouse development on a future condominium road.

The subject parcel of land is located on the east side of Khalsa Gate at the southerly end of Khalsa Gate.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject land.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the zoning by-law amendment is passed or before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision:

  • the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council or the Director of Planning Services to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  • the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
