You are invited to attend and provide input at this meeting hosted by Planning and Development Council.

On January 12, 2015, Oakville Council hosted a public meeting regarding a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to permit a four storey office building containing approximately 9196 m2 of gross floor area and 413 parking spaces on the subject lands.

The subject land is located on the southwest corner of South Service Road East and Chartwell Road.

On April 13, 2015, Council approved the staff recommendation and passed By-law 2015-032. As a result of irregularities in fulfilling the statutory notice requirements it is considered appropriate to repeal and replace By-law 2015-032.

There are no substantive changes proposed to the Zoning By-law Amendment set out in By-law 2015-032 as passed on April 13, 2015.

The Planning Services department will be presenting a recommendation report with respect to the development proposal at this meeting.

This land is also subject to a Site Plan Application, File No. 1611.018/02.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the by-law is passed:

  • the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  • the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

Any submission to the Planning and Development Council, either in hard copy or in electronic format, must be forwarded to the Clerk's department for receipt no later than noon on June 15, 2015, to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. Individuals making oral submissions at the public meeting are requested to submit a written outline of the submission to the Town Clerk. All submissions should include the full name and address of the presenter.
