Notice of Complete Application & Notice of Open House on May 11, 2016, for a Zoning By-Law Amendment and Plan of Subdivision, Trinity United Church

The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by Trinity United Church for a proposed zoning by-law amendment and a plan of subdivision. Members of the public are invited to attend and provide input at an open house hosted by the Planning Services Department to be held on:

Open House: Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.
Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville Room

A Draft Plan of Subdivision has been submitted to create three residential lots on a portion of the Trinity Church site. An application to amend the Zoning By-law has been submitted to rezone the three residential lots to allow the development of a single detached dwelling on each lot.

The subject land is generally located West of Trafalgar Road, south of McCraney Street East and North of Sewell Drive.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject land.

A statutory public meeting will be scheduled at a future date.  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a statutory public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca before the proposed zoning by-law amendment is passed and/or before the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision:

  • the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council and/or the Director of Planning Services to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  • the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Director of Planning Services in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision you must make a written request to the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca

The public may view planning documents and background material at the Planning Services Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or on development application page.
