The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by 2433170 Ontario Inc. for a proposed official plan amendment.

The proposal is to amend the North Oakville East Secondary Plan to allow the southern portion of the lands to develop in advance of the Province conducting an Environmental Assessment and detailed design of the 407 Transitway.

The property is located at the Northwest corner of Burnhamthorpe Road and Neyagawa Boulevard.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk in the Clerk’s Department 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, Ontario L6H 0H3 or before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted:

 the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
 the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
