The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by 1213763 Ontario Inc. & 1319399 Ontario Inc. for a proposed official plan amendment and zoning by-law amendment.
An Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment application has been submitted to permit development of the vacant portion of the site at 2220 Marine Drive for a four storey apartment building containing 27 residential units (rental).
Specifically, the Official Plan Amendment proposes increase the density of this High Density Residential designated site from 185 to 239 units per site hectare. The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes an amendment to the site specific regulations as set out in Residential High - Special Provision 82 to accommodate the proposed development.
The subject parcel of land is located on the south side of Marine Drive, east of East Street.
At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk in the Clerk’s Department 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, Ontario L6H 0H3 or TownClerk@oakville.ca before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted or before the zoning by-law amendment is passed:
the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
