The proposed amendments are to enable the construction of the Halton District School Board’s proposed new secondary school on the north side of Dundas Street West, west of Neyagawa Boulevard.
The purpose and effect of the proposed official plan amendment is to shift the map symbol for the secondary school site from its exiting location (at 3056 Neyagawa Blvd.) to the west in the North Oakville East Secondary Plan. The map symbol will identify the actual location of the proposed new secondary school (at 1039 Dundas St. W.).
The purpose and effect of the proposed zoning by-law amendment is to rezone the proposed school site to permit a secondary school and accessory sports field.
The subject land is located on the north side of Dundas Street West, west of Neyagawa Boulevard and east of Sixteen Mile Creek.
At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.
