Council passed zoning by-law 2021-046 under section 34, of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended on Monday, April 12, 2021.
The purpose and effect of zoning by-law 2021-046 is to rezone the lands from Existing Development (ED) to General Urban and Natural Heritage System to implement the plan of subdivision.
The subject land is generally located north of Dundas Street and west of Ninth Line.
The subject land is the subject of an application under the Act for Site Plan Application SP. 1307.002/02, proposed Plan of Subdivision File No. 24T-20007/1307 and a Zoning By-law Amendment File No. Z.1307.07.
Council has fully considered all the written and oral submissions relating to this matter and those comments have been appropriately addressed.
Any appeals to the proposed zoning by-law amendment must be filed with the Town Clerk at 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON, L6H 0H3; must set out the reasons for the appeal; and must be accompanied by the fee required by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal. A copy of the appeal form is available from the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal website.
Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf.
No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the Town of Oakville Council c/o the Town Clerk (at the Town of Oakville, Clerkâs department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca) or, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
