Parks, Gardens and Recreational Trails

Find more than 200 parks, garden plots, off-leash dog parks, skateboard parks, splash pads, sports fields, tennis courts, two harbours and 31 waterfront parks. Oakville offers 1,420 hectares of parkland and over 200 kilometres of recreational trails.

Closure Notice

Please note that starting on August 9, the east bank of the Sixteen Mile Creek Heritage Trail inner valley trail will be closed to facilitate repairs for approximately two weeks. The closure is from Lion's Valley Parking lot running south for approximately one kilometre to the metal stairs leading up to the Neyagawa Boulevard trail entrances.
