Pedestrian Safety Program

Through the Pedestrian Safety program the town is working to improve walkability and pedestrian safety. We are seeking input from residents about your current travel choices, pedestrian safety concerns, and opportunities to make walking a suitable transportation option for more people. Your input will help shape the development of initiatives to provide safe, accessible and efficient travel options in Oakville. Complete the Pedestrian Safety survey.

Transportation Demand Management Plan

The town is developing a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plan to provide alternatives to single occupancy vehicle trips and help alleviate traffic congestion in Oakville. We are seeking input from residents about your current travel choices, what concerns you have, and what would motivate you to try different travel options such as walking, cycling, public transit and carpooling. Your input will help shape the development of the TDM plan and advance the town’s objectives of creating a more balanced and sustainable transportation system in Oakville. Report a Problem

ServiceOakville has added an online Report a Problem tool for service requests for non-emergency issues such as road or sidewalk maintenance, potholes, streetlights, roadway litter and debris, graffiti and damage by snow plows. Access the Report a Problem tool.
