The town’s Financial Services departments provide centralized accounting and financial services for the town. Specifically, the Financial Operations and Financial Planning department are responsible for:
- Preparation of the annual budgets, operating and capital
- Levying and collection of taxes on behalf of the town, region, school boards and BIA’s
- Guiding the financial strategies of the town
- Purchasing and paying for services
- Accounting and management of the financial assets of the town
- Asset management services
- Payroll and benefit services
