2024 Oakville Community Spirit Awards now open for submissions!

Nominate a community champion now until Friday, April 26

The Oakville Community Spirit Awards (CSA) recognition program is    now accepting submissions! Residents are invited to nominate community champions who have made a significant difference in Oakville during the last year for a 2024 Community Spirit Award. 

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, April 26 at 4 p.m. in the following award categories:

1. Arts, Culture & Heritage Award - sponsored by Oakville News/Village Media
2. Climate Action Award - sponsored by FirstOntario Credit Union  
3. Good Neighbour Award - sponsored by Chartwell Retirement Residences
4. Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility Award - sponsored by Access Abilities 
5. Inspiration Award - sponsored by RBC Royal Bank 
6. Leadership & Innovation Award – sponsored by Amica Senior Lifestyles

Nominees will be celebrated on June 6, 2024 at the annual Community Spirit Awards event taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. More details will be shared in May when the nominees are announced.

• The CSA have recognized individual and groups for their outstanding contributions to the community since 2002.
• In 2023, the awards were refreshed to include broader awards categories that celebrate community members who make a difference in Oakville through volunteer efforts or acts of kindness.
