Movies in the Park

Bring a picnic blanket, your favourite snacks and join the fun at free outdoor movie experiences in Town parks starting in August.

Movies in the Park return this August!

Entry and family-friendly activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with the movie beginning at dusk.

Come early to ensure you get a good spot to watch the main feature, have a chance to connect with friends and neighbours, and take part in Oakville Public Library activities.

In the event of unpleasant weather, like rain and thunderstorms, Movies in the Park may be moved to an indoor location listed below. Follow the town on X, Instagram or Facebook for updates.

Watch Moana 2 (2024) at Fowley Park, 106 Fowley Drive. 

In case of inclement weather go to River Oaks Community Centre.

Wednesday, August 13

Watch Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024) at Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre Park, 325 Reynolds Street.

Thursday, August 14

Watch Mufasa: The Lion King (2024) at Munn’s Creek Park, 153 River Oaks Boulevard West.

Watch The Wild Robot (2024) at Forster Park, 100 North Forster Park Drive.

Watch How to Train Your Dragon (2025) at Bloomfield Park, 2531 Westoak Trails Boulevard.

Watch Inside Out 2 (2024) at Valleybrook Park, 1150 Valleybrook Drive.

Mystery Movie Night at Valleyridge Park, 2524 Valleyridge Drive.

Parking

Parking is limited at some of the park locations so please plan ahead. The town encourages residents to walk or bike to the movie screening in your area or take Oakville Transit.
