Iroquois Ridge Community Centre Renovations

Scheduled construction work at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre to make improvements to the facility.

About this project

As part of the Town of Oakville’s commitment to maintaining quality, accessible public spaces, Iroquois Ridge Community Centre (IRCC) has undergone vital improvements during its scheduled maintenance period. Renovations began January 2, 2025.

The pool will reopen on November 8, 2025

Our operations team are still completing finishing touches and our general contractor will continue working on remaining items through the end of the year. These delays are due to scheduling challenges, but our priority is to reopen and welcome the community back to the water as soon as possible.

Several upgrades have been made to enhance your experience, including:

  • New deck tile
  • Improved lighting
  • Fully accessible viewing area

The improvements underscore the town’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality community facilities that meet the evolving needs of residents, ensuring IRCC remains a welcoming and vibrant hub for years to come.

Impact on users

Due to excavation challenges and design modifications, the male and female pool changerooms have been switched. The space previously designated as the male changeroom is now the female changeroom, and vice versa. Please follow posted signage and staff guidance to ensure you’re using the correct facilities.

As part of the Town of Oakville’s commitment to maintaining quality, accessible public spaces, IRCC has undergone vital improvements since January 2, 2025.

A condensed fall swim lesson schedule will begin November 8 at IRCC pool.

The IRCC fitness centre, community program rooms, Older Adult Centre and Oakville Public Library’s Iroquois Ridge Branch are open.
