The Building By-law regulates the construction, demolition and change of use or transfer of permits, inspections and related matters including, but not limited to:
- the basic standards for obtaining permits required for construction, demolition, or change of use of buildings
- timeframes associated with permits and building activities
- administration of fees
- inspection notifications
