Notice of Complete Application

The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by ARGO (West Morrison Creek) Ltd. for a proposed official plan amendment.

An Official Plan Amendment has been submitted for a block on the northwest corner of Sixth Line and Street A (west extension of Marvin Avenue) to permit a mixed use building with a maximum height of eight storeys and a floor space index (FSI) of 4.2; whereas the North Oakville East Secondary Plan (NOESP) permits a height of six storeys and a floor space index of 2.

The subject land is located on the west side of Sixth Line, north of Carnegie Drive.

This land is also subject to a corresponding Zoning By-law Amendment (Z.1316.07) and Draft Plan of Subdivision (24T-20001/1316), both of which have been updated.

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 (Dropbox is located in front of Town Hall) or at TownClerk@oakville.ca before the official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
