Nominations now open for 2020 Oakville Community Spirit Awards

Every year Oakville residents spend countless hours volunteering their time to make our town a better place to live, work and play. The Town of Oakville is once again honouring community champions who positively contribute to the life and spirit of the town. Nominations are now open for the 19th Annual Community Spirit Awards recognizing outstanding individuals, groups and businesses in seven categories.

Nominations will be accepted until Monday, April 20 at 4 p.m. in the following award categories:

This year’s Community Spirit Awards presentation will take place on Thursday, June 11 at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. Award-winning local artist Kara Bruce, who specializes in drawing and sculpture, in particular stone relief carving, will design this year’s awards.
