Oakville’s annual New Year Levee is a cherished tradition that brings together the community to celebrate the start of a new year. Hosted at Town Hall's South Atrium, the event features a welcoming speech by Mayor Burton, a lineup of vibrant cultural performances, and an opportunity to meet local dignitaries and performers.

Event highlights

• Opening Remarks & Mayor’s Address: Start the event with the Town Crier's opening remarks followed by Mayor Burton as we usher in 2025.
• Cultural Performances: Enjoy a diverse range of performances including a rendition of the national anthem by Vicky He and showcases by local cultural groups.
• Community Engagement: The afternoon will conclude with an open social session where residents can mingle, network, and celebrate the new year with friends and neighbours.
