Thursday, August 28, 2025

Santa Claus is coming to town! Join Santa and friends for the 77th anniversary of the annual Oakville Santa Claus Parade! Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 15 at 9 a.m., and join us in downtown Oakville for this community celebration. This year’s theme is ‘snow much fun’!

Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favourite holiday attire and take our complimentary Oakville Transit Santa Shuttle from the Oakville GO Station to the Trafalgar Park Community Centre parking lot. Shuttles will run every 10 minutes starting at 8 a.m., with the parade beginning at 9 a.m.

Whether you’re looking to earn volunteer hours or you enjoy getting involved in the community, there are plenty of exciting opportunities to join in this year’s festivities!

Sponsorship information

The parade is a true celebration of community spirit, made possible each year thanks to the incredible support of residents, local businesses, and volunteers. To help ensure its continued success, the Town is currently seeking sponsorships and accepting financial donations. Amounts higher than $20 are eligible for a tax receipt.

Float, band and volunteer information

The parade is now accepting applications for floats, walking groups, marching bands, costumed character volunteers, and more. Please submit volunteer applications by October 24, 2025, and float and band applications by November 7, 2025. The best overall float will receive free entry in the 2026 parade!
