Celebrate the season with Holiday Lights by the Lake and give back to the community at the annual Toy Drive

Monday, November 24, 2025

Get ready to embrace the holiday spirit and celebrate the season. The beloved Holiday Lights by the Lake and Drive-Thru Toy Drive are returning to Coronation Park.

Holiday Lights by the Lake – starts December 1

Come out to see ‘Santa’s Reindeer Barn’, a new display for 2025 featuring even more lights and attractions! With more than 90 trees decked in 130,000 lights, paths illuminated by 100 light displays and 13 spotlight and laser displays, the park will be transformed into an unmissable winter destination.

Oakville Firefighters’ Drive-Thru Toy Drive on December 12

The ever-popular drive-thru Toy Drive hosted by the Town of Oakville, in partnership with the Oakville Professional Firefighters Association (OPFFA) is back at Coronation Park on Friday, December 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. All donations will be distributed directly to local families, institutions and community agencies supporting youth in need.

Families are invited to drive though the park, enjoy the festive lights, drop off a gift card or toy donation and wave or deliver a letter to Santa. The drive-thru event will feature performers and other special guests, including the Oakville Fire Safety team and Sparky the Fire Dog.

Each year, the OPFFA Toy Drive is grateful for the generous donations they receive. Please note that only new, unwrapped gifts are accepted. While all donations are welcome, the greatest need this year is clothing for newborns and infants, and gifts for youth ages 13 to 15. Visit the OPFFA Toy Drive website for gift ideas for these age groups and others.

Unable to attend the toy drive? The OPFFA will be accepting gift cards, toys, and non-perishable food donations from November 24 until December 18 at several locations across town, including Town Hall, all Oakville Fire Department fire stations, and select recreation and culture facilities and retail locations. For more details, visit the OPFFA Toy Drive website.

Visitor safety

On December 12 the park will be accessible as a drive-thru event only, while on remaining days of the season, the park is open to pedestrians and vehicles who wish to explore the holiday lights.
