Join the Town of Oakville for Movies in the Park starting August 7, 2025

The Town of Oakville’s Movies in the Park is back! Residents are invited to participating parks around Town to enjoy family-friendly movies under the stars on Wednesday and Thursday nights from August 7 to 28. Entry begins at 6:30 p.m. with movies beginning around dusk at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Come early to ensure you get a good spot to watch the main feature, have a chance to connect with friends and neighbours, and visit the Oakville Public Library’s Library on the Go bike. 

Locations and movie schedule 

• Thursday, August 7: Moana 2 at Fowley Park, 106 Fowley Drive
• Wednesday, August 13: Kung Fu Panda 4 at Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre Park, 325 Reynolds Street 
• Thursday, August 14: Mufasa: The Lion King at Munn’s Creek Park, 153 River Oaks Boulevard West 
• Wednesday August 20: The Wild Robot at Forster Park, 100 North Forster Park Drive
• Thursday August 21: How to Train Your Dragon at Bloomfield Park, 2531 Westoak Trails Boulevard 
• Wednesday August 27: Inside Out 2, Valleybrook Park, 1150 Valleybrook Drive
• Thursday August 28: Mystery movie, Valleyridge Park, 2524 Valleyridge Drive

Inclement weather

In the event of inclement weather, like rain and thunderstorms, Movies in the Park may be moved to an indoor location. Inclement weather locations can be found on the Movies in the Park page. Follow the town on X, Instagram, Facebook or Bluesky for updates. 

Parking

Parking is limited at some of the locations so please plan ahead. The Town encourages residents to walk, bike or take Oakville Transit to the movie screening in your area.
