What is proposed?

The purpose of the applications are to provide residential uses exclusively on the lands, where non-residential uses are also required.

The effect of the applications will result in the development of the lands for three stacked townhouse blocks, totaling 60 dwelling units without non-residential uses in a neighbourhood activity node.

P.13, as amended, and may form part of the public record which may be released to the public.

You are not required to participate. However, only those people and public bodies that submit comments or speak at the public meeting may be allowed to appeal the decision of Council on this proposal. 

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal, but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town Clerk before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, and the proposed zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. 

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submission to Council before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted and zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
