What is proposed?
The purpose of the official plan and zoning by-law amendment application is to redesignate, and rezone the lands to community use, and change the site-specific exception policies applying to the lands to permit the dedication of a multi-use pathway in lieu of the extension of Baronwood Drive, allow for surface parking in front and between buildings, and modify landscape buffers, setbacks, and building height.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submission to Town of Oakville Council before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted and zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a part to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the option of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
