Foolish Tales for Foolish Times at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts
Join Puppetmongers Theatre to see four classic tales of misadventure, combined in Foolish Tales for Foolish Times and embark on a journey of folk wisdom in a celebration of our shared humanity! Each story is playfully told with Puppetmongers’ trademark witty fashion using different styles of puppetry from human-sized to hand puppet. This is a paid event. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased online.
Community performances and demonstrations
Family Day will feature performances, music activities, creative sessions, and dance workshops at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. Enjoy offerings from community partners like the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton, High Rendition Jazz, the Oakville Quilters Guild, the Oakville Association of Knitters and Crocheters, and more!
While most programs are offered as drop-ins, online registration for select programs opens on Friday, February 13 at 9 a.m. for Oakville residents, and Saturday, February 14 at 9 a.m. for non-residents. Please only register for the programs you know you will attend to give everyone the chance to participate.
