All roles are paid at the same rate. Visit the Election Workers page for more information about the positions including a link to the application form. The 2026 Municipal Election Application for Election Workers will remain open until all positions are filled.

Working in an election is a meaningful way for Canadian citizens, longtime residents, and retirees to give back to their community. It also provides valuable experience for youth looking to build their resumes. New residents who are legally eligible to work are encouraged to apply, even if they are not yet eligible to vote.

All voting locations are physically accessible, and the Town welcomes individuals of all abilities to apply. Individuals who speak multiple languages, in addition to being fluent in English, are also encouraged to apply, as their language skills are valuable in supporting and connecting with voters.
