Emergency road closure on Douglas Avenue on August 20, 2026

Effective immediately on Thursday, August 20, 2026, Douglas Road between Lakeshore Road East and Randall Street will be closed for emergency sanitary work.

The detour route will be along: 

• Lakeshore Road East 
• Watson Avenue
• Randall Street

During this time, access will be maintained for local traffic only.

The closure will be in effect until 6 p.m. on August 20, 2026.
