Lions Valley Park driveway and parking lot temporarily closed starting August 23, 2026 

The Lions Valley Park driveway and parking lot will be closed to vehicles and pedestrian walk-in access August 23, 2026 through August 28, 2026 and Monday August 31, 2026 through Thursday September 3, 2026 due to paving work. The Knox church parking lot used for park overflow parking will also be closed for paving during this week.

The driveway and parking lot may be reopened sooner if paving and line painting is able to be completed earlier.

Pedestrian access to the park is still possible by using various trail entrances around the Sixteen Mile Creek valley, however entering and exiting using the parking lot or driveway will not be possible during this time.

No picnic pavilion bookings will be possible during this time.
