Road closures for the Terry Fox Run on September 20, 2026

For the 2026 Terry Fox Run, the following roadways will be closed temporarily for through traffic and Halton Regional Police Service will be on site:

• Bronte Road south of Lakeshore Road West to Ontario Street
• Marine Drive from Bronte Road to Jones Street
• Ontario Street from Bronte Road to Jones Street

Running cone lanes:

• Old Lakeshore Road: Belvedere Drive to Third Line on both sides of the street
• Marine Drive: Third Line to East Street on both sides of the street
• Marine Drive: East Street to Jones Street on the north side of the street
• Marine Drive: Jones Street to Bronte Road on the south side of the street
• Ontario Street: Bronte Road to East Street on the south side of the street

The following roadway will be designated as the primary detour route during the closure period: 

• Lakeshore Road West.

This closure will start at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026 and will be in place until 12 p.m. noon on the same day.
