Road closures on Douglas Avenue for street parties on October 31, 2026

Sections of Douglas Avenue will be closed temporarily for two street parties on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 5 to 10 p.m.

The closures will be on Douglas Avenue between:

• Macdonald Road and Galt Avenue
• Sheddon Avenue and Palmer Avenue

Local access through this area will not be maintained. 

The primary detour routes during the closure period will be along the following roads:

• Macdonald Road, Allan Street, Galt Avenue and Watson Avenue
• Sheddon Avenue, Allan Street, Palmer Avenue and Watson Avenue
