Snow clearing update - December 23, 2025

Oakville experienced snow on December 23, 2025.

• Primary and secondary roads have been plowed and salted.
• Plowing of sidewalks on primary and secondary roads is ongoing.
• BIA sidewalk clearing is ongoing.
• Plowing of Speers Road bike lanes is ongoing.
• Transit Terminal and Ride On-Demand hubs are ongoing.
• Residential road plowing and salting is underway north of the QEW. Salting is ongoing south of the QEW.
• Residential roads are started only after the snow has stopped, and there is a minimum accumulation of 7.5 centimetres. Oakville received approximately 8 cm of snow north of the QEW and 1-3 cm south of the QEW.
• Transit stop clearing is ongoing.
