Snow clearing update - February 6, 2026

Oakville is experiencing light snow on February 6, 2026. 

• Primary and secondary road plowing and salting is complete.
• BIA sidewalk clearing is complete.
• Speers Road bike lane clearing is complete.
• Primary and secondary sidewalk plowing and sanding is ongoing.
• Transit terminal and Ride On Demand hub clearing is ongoing.
• Residential road salting/sanding is scheduled.

While it snows, we continuously plow the primary and secondary roads. Residential roads are started only after the snow has stopped, and there has been a minimum accumulation of 7.5 centimetres.
