Oakville is currently experiencing a large snow fall.

While it snows, we continuously plow primary and secondary roads.

Ongoing operations:

  • Primary and secondary road and sidewalk plowing and salting is ongoing
  • BIA sidewalk clearing is ongoing
  • Speers Road bike lane maintenance is ongoing
  • Transit Terminal and Ride On-Demand Hub clearing is ongoing
  • Primary sidewalk clearing is ongoing
  • Residential road clearing is ongoing
  • Secondary sidewalk clearing scheduled to begin after snow stops and primary sidewalks are completed
  • Transit stop clearing scheduled to begin after snow stops and roads are plowed
  • Residential sidewalk clearing scheduled to begin after snow stops and primary and secondary sidewalks are completed

It may take up to 24 hours after the snow has stopped to clear all residential roads following a snow event.

Check our Snow Clearing page for information about how and when we handle the snow.
