Town of Oakville Significant Weather Declaration beginning January 25, 2026
The Town of Oakville has declared a Significant Weather Event that started at 12 p.m. (noon) on January 25, 2026 and will continue until further notice.
It is currently snowing in Oakville. While it snows, we continuously plow primary and secondary roads.

Transit Terminal and Ride on Demand Hub maintenance - Ongoing
Speers Road bike lane maintenance - Ongoing
Residential roads are started only after the snow has stopped, and there is a minimum accumulation of 7.5 centimetres. It may take up to 24 hours after the snow has stopped to clear all residential roads following a significant snow event.
