Snow clearing update - January 21, 2026

It is currently snowing in Oakville. While it snows, we continuously plow primary and secondary roads.

• Primary and secondary road clearing and salting - Ongoing
• BIA sidewalk maintenance - Ongoing
• Transit Terminal and Ride on Demand Hub maintenance - Ongoing
• Speers Road bike lane maintenance - Ongoing

Residential roads are started only after the snow has stopped, and there is a minimum accumulation of 7.5 centimetres. It may take up to 24 hours after the snow has stopped to clear all residential roads following a significant snow event.
